We want you to be happy with your order. This policy gives a practical summary of how returns and refunds are handled at The Endurance Diaries. It does not replace any rights you may have under South African consumer law, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.

Digital Products

Generally non-refundable once downloaded. Contact us within 7 days if there's a genuine issue.

Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. Items must be unused and in original packaging.

Processed via the original payment method. Timing depends on your bank or PayFast.


1. Digital Products

Most products sold on The Endurance Diaries are digital downloads (such as PDF guides and training resources). Due to the instant nature of digital delivery, we generally do not offer refunds once a product has been downloaded or accessed.

However, we are fair and reasonable. If any of the following apply, please contact us within 7 days of purchase:

  • You were unable to download or access the product due to a technical error on our side
  • The product is substantially different from what was described on the product page
  • You received the wrong product

In these cases we will either resend the correct product, provide a working download link, or issue a refund at our discretion.


2. Change-of-Mind Returns (Physical Products)

For eligible physical product purchases, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order if you would like to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • Unused and in their original condition
  • Clean and undamaged
  • In original packaging where applicable

The direct cost of returning goods is for the customer's account unless otherwise agreed. We recommend using a trackable shipping method as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.


3. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible with the following:

  • Your order number
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Photos of the damaged or incorrect item (for physical products)

We will assess the issue and advise whether a replacement, repair, refund, or other remedy applies. We aim to resolve all such issues promptly and fairly.


4. Refund Processing

Once a refund is approved, it will be processed back through the original payment method used at checkout (PayFast, credit card, EFT, etc.).

Refund timing can vary depending on your bank or payment provider. PayFast refunds typically reflect within 3–5 business days, though this can occasionally take longer depending on your bank.

You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed on our side.


5. Your Consumer Rights

This policy does not limit or replace your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (South Africa). If you feel your consumer rights have not been honoured, you may contact the National Consumer Commission (NCC) at thencc.org.za.
