About The Endurance Diaries
Honest stories from the road, the trainer, and real life in South Africa.
Hi, I'm Liz 👋💗
I'm a South African endurance athlete who spends far too many hours on Zwift, chases parkrun milestones, and believes training honestly — load shedding, low-energy days and all — beats pretending every session is perfect.
The Endurance Diaries is where I share what actually works: real training lessons, gear that earns its place, and the faith that keeps me going when my legs want to quit. I also build apps and tools for women chasing goals, enduring hard things and trusting God in the process — including Daniel Fast, my fasting companion app, made right here in South Africa.
Everything in the shop is designed, tested and glitter-approved by me personally. ✨
Thanks for being here — now let's go ride.
The Endurance Diaries is my space for sharing the honest side of becoming a stronger endurance athlete.
I write about indoor cycling on Zwift, running, strength work, Pilates, coaching lessons, gear choices and the everyday challenges that come with trying to improve while still living a normal life.
This is not about pretending every session is perfect. It is about real progress, useful lessons, better habits and enjoying the process a little more.
